The Audio Technica AT3600L is probably the world's most popular cartridge. It is used by many manufacturers and comes pre-installed as their cartridge of choice with many turntables. It has been time tested and proven by decades of use for quality, durability, affordability and great sound.The Audio Technica AT3600L is perfect as a great sounding spare or replacement for worn, damaged or low quality pre-installed cartridges. It is also ideal if you can't find a replacement stylus for your record player. A worn or chipped stylus sounds bad, because it will not sit in the grove properly and can eventually damage your records. You don't have to risk the damage to your vinyl and waste time searching for a stylus for your current cartridge. Simply replace the whole cartridge for the same or less money!The Audio Technica AT3600L is a moving magnet cartridge with a standard half-inch mount (two holes with 1/2" spacing) that will replace virtually any cartridge in any turntable of any brand which uses a removable head-shell. If there are two screws holding your current magnetic cartridge in place, the Audio Technica AT3600L can replace it.It is very easy to install with four pins at the back that connect to four individual wires at the end of the tone arm. The cartridge is then secured to the tone arm's head-shell with two screws. The cartridge comes pre-installed with a high quality Audio Technica ATN3600L stylus with a bonded diamond tip that guarantees great sound. The stylus has a carbon fibre cantilever for more accurate sound reproduction and stronger damage control should the tone arm be dropped.The Audio Technica AT3600L is durable and long lasting for extended playing time and comes with a plastic cover that protects the stylus while not in use.
