If anyone from Florida tells you that something is « Bussin' », it means it's surprisingly good, in a delicious way. Orlando-born Devin Morrison's first solo album on NBN Records, « Bussin' » gives you an ill mix of flavors with eclectic inspirations rooted in 90's R&B, Gospel and Funk.

You get freshly-squeezed harmonies inspired by the likes of Take 6 & Commissioned on slow jams like « Bussin' », melodies that pierce like spears on « No » and drums that bite like gator jaws on the G-Funk infused banger « The Struggle Iz Real » featuring Daz Dillinger. Singer/songwriter/composer, Devin Morrison aims to show the world the sweet sound of Florida that it has yet to hear, and collaborates with the finest voices in the R&B industry such as Grammy Award nominees KING, super talented singer from L.A. Joyce Wrice on the classic R&Bduet « With You », or hot newcomers like Ace Hashimoto on the futuristic sounding « Guaranteed ». The introductive track « It's Time » features a guitar performance from Devin's father, a solo recording artist in the early 90's as known as Dah-Vi and ends up on a personal note with the spiritual « Fairytale » (featuring vocals from Devin's older brother, Lakks Mable) and the introspective « Love Yourself ». As Devin tweeted, « As long as I'm alive, R&B shall be as well ». The expectations are high for this Floridian creative, Devin Morrison is here to stay and he's about to let the whole world know about it.

We are delighted to present a raw, young talent from Copenhagen - the city of fairy tales. Indeed, Parks at Night, the debut album from 17 years old Teis Ortved, could very easily provide the soundtrack for a recently unearthed Hans Christian Anderson story. In fourteen moves, the devoted multi-instrumentalist tells us the tale of his relatively short journey so far with confidence that belies his age. There's no ego or showboating here as this modest musician brings together seemingly disparate technologies with apparent ease, marrying sequenced beats and plaintive pianos overlaid by ethereal vocals that take his very special music somewhere other-worldly.To fully appreciate Teis' universe we need to dip a toe into his upbringing, his wonder years and the family unit that has had so much influence on his fascinating musical output. Both his father and mother are musicians - the former having previously been a drummer in a danish band, and almost from birth, Teis would sleep backstage at his parents shows. Teis has been immersed in music his whole life - even his sister is a renowned violinist. There was no escape from the arts in the Ortved household, nor was there been any desire to do so, which probably explains the sense of calmness in Teis' productions. His music feels like a pleasure; a natural outlet; one that's never been stifled and always been encouraged.

Bomb alert !After the first fantastic collabo between french dynamic duo Mister Modo & Ugly Mac Beer and American MC Crimson Alchemist, the time has come for those three to team up again. The result is another amazing 45. Both sides are equally dope. If fall 90s hip-hop is your Line, then you defo should grab a copy or two.
Innercity Griots, the second album from Freestyle Fellowship, is perhaps *the* essential West Coast left-field rap album of the early ’90s. Released in 1993 on 4th & Broadway, it’s a towering, progressive hip-hop masterpiece that expanded rap’s boundaries through lyrical elevation and production innovation. Their talent was ahead of everybody else by light years. This is pure b-boy jazz. The original single vinyl LP is now hideously scarce, and of course the sound suffers from not being officially released as a double. This Be With re-issue fixes both problems, and for completeness also includes “Pure Thought” from the CD version of the album. This incredible display of imaginative hip-hop sounds better than ever.
