Bleep favourite EDMX delivers another whole lot of the cheekily unexpected. His Queen Nanny debut World Phaser — a bona fide opus, some might say — comprehensively documents the myriad sounds of the producer, without allowing himself to be fenced in. ‘Hip Hop’ rides the bass modulator like a world class bucking bronco star, flitting between swaggering electro and dub rhythms. Many tracks later, we get the likes of ‘Stabbing’, a darkly wacky number carries a blooping chirrup to the moon and back.
