Grauzone by GrauzoneLid-off Box, Album 180g Vinyl DLP in Heavy Gatefold Sleeve, Live LP Heavy Sleeve, 80-page Fanzine, 60x90cm Poster, Liner Notes, Lyrics, Stickers.WRWTFWW Records is very excited to celebrate the 40 years anniversary of cult band Grauzone with the release of their definitive and comprehensive Limited 40 Years Anniversary Box Set, packed with their complete discography, as well as a never-released-before live recording, an 80-page fanzine with an extensive biography written by Swiss music historian Lurker Grand, unseen archival material, and artist contributions, and a poster replica of an original concert flyer from 1980. Conceived, conceptualized and supervised by original band member Stephan Eicher, the box set includes the following exclusive content: - Grauzone’s self-titled album from 1981 reissued as a 180g vinyl double LP with 9 additional tracks, amounting to the band’s complete studio discography. Included are the classics “Eisbär", “FILM 2″, “Raum", “Moskau", “Träume Mit Mir", “Der Weg Zu Zweit", and “Wütendes Glas (Maxi Version)", as well as the deep and unconventional album cuts that make Grauzone so unique.

Black Truffle is pleased to present Sylva Sylvarum, an epic new work from Ora Clementi, the collaborative project of crys cole and James Rushford. Primarily conceived and recorded over several months together in Melbourne, Sylva Sylvarum is a stunning step forward from the mumbled, creaking sound world of the duo’s debut, Cover You Will Softer Me (Penultimate Press, 2014). From the opening ‘Peach of Immortality’, which takes an unpredictable journey from layers of chiming bells, vocal harmonies and lush synth pads to a desolate landscape of half-animal, half-digital wooshes and cries, it is immediately clear that cole and Rushford are working here with an entirely unique sound palette. Throughout the record’s four sides, we hear a large array of carefully detailed synthesizer sounds (many of them recorded at the remarkable Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio), sparse drum machine hits, wind instruments and field recordings of animals, often with a twistedly late 80s/early 90s flavour that at various points calls up New Age references, Robert Ashley’s later operas or the thinned-out textures of early digital GRM.

The second album on Ilian Tape comes again out of Munich city. Skee Mask doesn’t spend a day without making music and the dedication, attention to detail and architectural approach really make this album an absolute trip to listen to. It’s the sound of a peaceful and energetic place. It’s smoky and cosy. It’s where Skee Mask spends most of his time. He lives for the music and we are really happy that this freak became a core member of the Ilian Tape family. This album is made for true lovers and hustlers. Turn it up loud!

STOORCOMP/1 - NE - 2020Some stunning electronix, techno and ambient presented by Speedy J on the very first STOOR compilation (STOOR meaning Disturb or Interfere, and the name of his studio, The STOOR Studio). This is a compilation of recordings done by Speedy J and talented and respected artists such as Rodhad, Function, Mumdance, AnD, Colin Benders, Black Asteroid, Conforce and Subjected who all recorded in his large studio space in Rotterdam where Speedy J welcomes guests to experiment with sound and electronic live sessions. Known as a true sound designer Speedy J always is looking forward and exploring new technologies combined with his extensive collection of analogue equipment which he collected since his very first release on Plus 8 records in 1990. Striking moments from each collaboration are captured on limited vinyl editions of 25 each sold directly from the studio. To present this project to a wider audience the studio is proudly presenting its first compilation. STOOR Comp 1 holds selected highlights from the 12'' versions and the studio archive and comes in a 400 copies edition.
