While the instrumental remix drives us into a melancholic vibe, where Davy uses harmonica in a subtle way as he did for his latest live show, the vocal mix is an unusual approach to remixing. Davy decided to add his own vocals on top of his mix, and arranged it in a different way. The result is that the track is brought into a total pop territory.Ruutu Poiss, an Amsterdam based Estonian producer has deconstructed Super Spreader, to rebuild it into a complex yet driving form of club music.And last but not least, Gilb’R offers L’inconscient rebel, an unreleased jam recorded live during the Triangle studio days in Amsterdam. Some latin electronics? Digital guaguancó? Definitly a weird groover.

Much deserved, remastered reissue of 'We Are I.E.' by Lennie De Ice, arguably the first proto jungle tune, now coming correct with fresh remixes from Solo & Blades alongside Borai, as well as the sought-after Horsepower Productions remix.Released in 1991 on I.E. Records, an imprint based out of De Underground Records, a store in London's Forest Gate run by Mike De Underground alongside Uncle 22 and Randall, it famously featured elements that paved the way for the Jungle sound. Centered around the Amen break, ragga style basslines, vinyl spinbacks and gun shot samples, it stood out as something different back in ’91, A certified classic, rinsed on dancefloors everywhere and anywhere, from back in the day to the present.Solo & Blades are the first of the new versions, hitting hard with a heavyweight jungle remix, as Borai steps up with a beefy bassline rework. In any case, it’s the sort of track that instantly puts a smile on any dancefloor.R Weng - Sound Of The BreezeClosing the EP is this plodding downtempo tune that sounds like a lost bedroom recording from the UK’s ambient house era, where a synthetic rhythm section and precious melodies are blended with dreamy guitar licks. The idea for Suemori's new alias arose (also known as Hoshina Anniversary) in conversation with Osàre! Editions label boss, Elena Colombi. An inheritance from his grandfather, the name sets the tone of the album that synthesises traditional Japanese instruments into an electronic format. Dub and drone’s eerie resonance collides with staccato electro and fizzling acid on ‘Yakkosan.’ Driven by a meditative beat, flutes and choral voices glide through 'Senpai Kouhai' while ‘Hankumoi’ shudders with lucid synth. The cultural iconography of Japan emerges from this dark, textual landscape, haunted both by the ghosts of the past and spectral sound of the future.
