A Colourful Storm launches a series of 12″ singles focusing on lesser spotted dancefloor gems: the first, two classics from the golden era of bleeps’n'bass techno with nods to Sheffield but apparently originating closer to Miami. Delsin's Inertia series are back. The floor focussed offshoot welcomes German DJ and producer Lennart Wiehe. Bringing groovy roughness and warm yet forceful driving techno finished with some kickdrum heavy beat pounders, it's an effective pack of dancefloor goodness.

Brussels' Trading Places Records are proud to present their debut release, Temptation; the genre-traversing, three- track collaboration between hometown producer, Shungu and Washington DC's Dreamcast.Conceived in August 2019 as part of a week-long residency in a temporary studio by the Maastricht countryside, the idea was to provide the two artists with a space unshackled from city-induced stress and daily distractions. The result was no less than nineteen songs, exploring everything from groove-led soul and hip-hop to uptempo efforts.Whittled down to just three tracks, the EP embodies the energy of that seven day nature retreat, laced with the cool and soulfulness of the pairing. From the warm, off-kilter hip-hop-come-soul goodness of 'Nice To Meet You' and the title track to the languid, housey feels of first single 'Replaceable', the project details an intimate story we all can relate to: the constant battle between desire and mind power.

Sensational by Erika de CasierSensational expands the universe of Erika de Casier’s 2019 self-released debut album Essentials. Where Essentials dealt more with the infatuation stages of love, Sensational has more of an attitude, aiming to dismantle the stereotype of single women looking for love, tackling relationship dramas and the toxicity of dating. It was a chance to rewrite scenarios in ways that empowered her, fantasising about what could’ve been.Sensational was produced by de Casier and Natal Zeks and is a breath of fresh air to anyone with a passion for music in all its genres, as much influenced by Aaliyah and Janet Jackson as house, garage and techno. With hushed, pillow-soft vocals and production that references turn-of-the-millenium sounds, de Casier’s sound surveys the past while looking to the future.
