Sumerian Fleet on Clone West Coast Series.

Re-issue of the amazing Sumerian Fleet 5 track ep full of big dark wave inspired tracks. The perfect sound track for a movie such as Irreversible. Scary, haunting and dirty! Do we hear some influences of The Cure? Liaisons Dangereuses? Adult.? Front 242?, John Fox?. By far the most inspiring electro release we've have heard in a while with its crazy industrial drive and dirty machine funk and robotic synths. Btw check out that last track Blech Erkrankung... That track alone is worth buying this record! Big.

Marie Davidson’s new album turns the mirror on herself. "Working Class Woman” - released on 5th October on Ninja Tune - is the Montreal-based producer’s fourth and most self-reflective record: it’s a document of her state of mind, of operating within the spheres of dance music and club culture. Drawing on those experiences, as well as an array of writers, thinkers and filmmakers who’ve influenced her, Davidson’s response to such difficult moments is to explore her own reaction to them and poke fun. “It comes from my brain, through my own experiences: the suffering and the humour, the fun and the darkness to be Marie Davidson.” It’s an honest document of where she currently stands. As she puts it, “It’s an egotistical album – and I’m okay with that.”

"Here's some revisions of early tracks which I started whilst living in Bristol, before moving to Berlin. You can clearly hear decades of the city's influence, mad to think you'd see DJ Die bouncing around Stokes Croft on the rego, or spot Daddy G picking up some fish at the local market on my walk into work each day. Such an inspiring city that's always on the move. Shouts to the 'diff don DJ Guy on the version."
