SAIS005.5 — a companion piece to the PMA EP by B-2DEP’T released on SAISEI earlier this year — is a unique one-sided 10” EP featuring a remix by Uruguayan producer Z@p. The Phonoteque resident reworks ‘BSMH’ with a classic 80s electro beat and bassline, funking up the groove for all the breakdancers in the crowd. The original vocodered lyrics — “Body/Sonic/Mental/Health” — resonate today as much as they did back in 1993, acting as a mantra for a new rave generation.

Kennedy again uses the power of machines to translate his late-night dreams and spaced-out thoughts into two tracks of borderless hi tech soul music. This second musical manifestation of dreams is the newest in a unique series of thoughts, sensations and sounds occurring from a person's mind, translated by machines. These are sounds that are always playing somewhere in your deepest subconscious mind. They're like a portal into another dimension where predictable arrangements do not exist. Chords seep and bleed into one another. Melodies drop from above like the liquid colours of an acid trip. They have blurred edges. The cloudy focus of each track means you sink in deep and latch on to an astral synth line that takes you higher, or find yourself gazing in wonder at the sci-fi bleeps that gently drift by.
Legendary electronic music duo Orbital return Early 2023 with new album “Optical Delusion”, the Hartnoll brothers first studio album since 2018’s Monster’s Exist. Recorded in Orbital’s Brighton studio, “Optical Delusion” includes contributions from Sleaford Mods, Penelope Isles, Anna B Savage, The Little Pest, Dina Ipavic, Coppe, and perhaps most surprisingly, The Medieval Baebes.Earlier this year, Orbital celebrated their storied history with “30 Something” which, unlike other Best Of’s, contains reworks, remakes, remixes and re-imaginings of landmark Orbital tracks including “Chime”, “Belfast”, “Halcyon”, “Satan”, and “The Box”
By popular demand 1993 now available on a Limited edition vinyl release.C.M. Toni originally released music on Partners Inc Records for a short spell between 1991 and 1993. The label was inspired by the deep jazzy, soulful US house labels like Nervous, Strictly Rhythm and the NY house scene in general. These previously unreleased tracks were found recently on a tape recorded in 1993. The raw classic sound of 12 bit samplers, drum machines and early synths are all over these lost cuts recorded in the Dollis Hill attic, authentic house music from 1993.

Pedro Elías Corro is a producer and DJ from Venezuela, who grew up in the neighborhood of Catia, in Caracas during the 90's. Having grown up in the world of minitecas (mobile sound systems), Pedro Elias was able to develop his ear, as well as his DJ skills, from an early age. Particularly, by frequenting music gear and record shops in Catia such as 'Audio Jbl' and 'Djs Shop', which were the hotspots for all the miniteca dj's who were after the latest imports in dance music.By digging through the crates of these shops, Pedro Elias found inspiration in records from labels such as Italian Style Production, UR, Dance Street Technoland and ZYX. These influences, along with Afro-Venezuelan drumming and Caribbean Dance music, inspired Baba to create a new form of dance music which would be later known as Raptor House. As the technology for music-making became more affordable in mid 90s, the Miniteca scene gave birth to a string of new producers in Venezuela. Names such as El Mago, Dr Sampler, DJ Lemad, DJ Deep, DJ Yet (later known as DJ Yirvin) and DJ Baba. This new Venezuelan-flavored form of club music would become initially known as Street House, but as each producer developed their own style, new names for their sounds appeared; such as Town House, Hard Fusion and Raptor House, for which DJ Baba is the progenitor. The tracks on this EP are a compilation of music that Baba produced between 2001- 2005, at the peak of the 'Raptor House' scene. Included are collaborations with DJ Lemad ['Mario Vol 3' and 'Aget Love'] and a remix of 'Teque Teque Alright' by Nick Léon.
