Available as Vinyl LP & Digital on February 5th 2021.Do you remember The Exorcist, Halloween, Jaws, Evil Dead, The Twilight Zone or The Return Of The Living Dead and their haunting musical themes? Imagine all and many more remixed by the French dub master, along with three original and scary compositions. Needless to say, Mato, who’s playing most instruments and synthesizers, did a fantastic job and you’ll be blown when hearing these versions.Starting his reggae production career in 2006, Thomas Blanchot (aka Mato) has released music through various projects on EDR Records, Big Singles or Makasound... In the meantime he developed a real trademark: taking over classics French, Hip-Hop, OST, Classical or Pop song, into roots reggae-dub new versions. Besides, since 2010, Mato has built a solid reputation thanks to his hot remixes of Hip-Hop classics on Stix Records.

Dubquake Records dig deep in the vaults to reissue five more iconic Iration Steppas tracks from the 90’s!Still buzzing from the hype around Part 1 of the ‘90’s Classic Cutz’, this new drop includes their very first release ‘Scud Missile’, the legendary ‘Hard Time Pressure In A Babylon’, ‘Locks’ featuring Tena Stelin, ‘Kitachi In Dubwize’ and their spiced up remix of Vibronics’ ‘One Drop’.These tracks were produced and mixed by Iration Steppas’ founding members Mark Iration and Dennis Rootical at the High Rise Studio in Chapeltown, Leeds. At the time, the dub-making-duo were heavily experimenting with new sounds, blending dub with acid soundscapes in a way that had never been done before. At the frontier of reggae and electronic music, their ‘Dub Inna Year 3000 Style’ re-defined UK Dub in the 90’s and continues to inspire the new generation.All tracks have been remastered and put onto five separate 12” slabs of wax. And to add to the excitement, each release features original mixes + previously unreleased ‘dubplate cutz’ that could only be heard live up till now!

Glasgow-based Seated Records return with more 1980s Scottish Post-Punk / New Wave material. In this 8-track mini compilation, “Dust: recordings 1980-1984”, the label introduces the work of Stirling band 22 Beaches, following the band's journey and the changes in their sound over the years. The compilation moves from the raw, punk energy of early DIY recordings through to the dub-influenced A Certain Ratio style Balearica of their later work.
