Mindfulness Hipernormalisation Album by Eduardo de la Calle by Eduardo de la CalleThe MINDFULNESS HIPERNORMALISATION album itself marks a new turn in Eduardo's work, breaking away from any musical style or stereotype and always trying to seeking freedom of expression, marked also by a strong connotation of voluntary ostracism.A new stage in which Eduardo uses this double vinyl like a tool to mark a distance with the current international scene and also support the Adam Curtis theories shown on his acclamed documentary "The HiperNormalisation" 2016 . The album show influences that goes from romantic ambient melodies to the most complex and experimental electronica, also including easy listening techno where it is difficult to differentiate the line between techno and ambient.
Repress of Medical's 2014 reissue of the long out of print and crucial LP Australia's Severed Heads (alongside "Since The Accident" also being repressed by Medical). Released in 1985 and features some of the most important yet underrated electronic music of the genre. Characterized by a fusion of experimental tape loop manipulation perfectly integrated into synth-based and quite catchy pop stylized tunes. Features the standout tracks "Goodbye Tonsils", "We Have Come For This House" and the lovely "4.W.D" track. For fans of innovative early industrial/wave crossovers such as Cabaret Voltaire, early Coil, and Chris & Cosey. Limited Edition.
While volume two of Dat Pressure's Rip N Run may have already hit the streets, now they're back-pedalling to volume one - OCD garage heads rejoice. As ever label boss Noodles is on hand with more essential wares from the vaults, this time enlisting the mighty Dub Child as a partner in crime. These jams veer towards the breakstep end of the garage spectrum, all boom bap drums and stuttered grooves, not least on the massive but spacious "We Go." "Zip It Up" packs in plenty of rootsy dub tones and soul vocal licks to match the skittering drums, and "Smoking Circles" gets into an almost techy strain of broken beat honed for serious dancefloor consumption. Just hold tight for the bass drop on that last one - it's a monster.DPR Recordings · Groovechronicles Zip It Up Rip n Run vol 1
