Having previously collaborated as SYT for releases on Sabres of Paradise and also having had releases on Hard Hands, DJ Scott James and producer, writer and musician Chris Hayne teamed up once again forming Sound Virus to share their more esoteric dancefloor visions. 'Swirl' was originally appeared in 1995, a limited vinyl only release on their own imprint Lux Recordings,

First up 'Follow Your Feet' opens with haunting synths that lead into razor sharp percussion and a forceful b-line that drives the track to a mesmeric peak, whilst a repetitive vocoded vocal stirs the electro soul. 'Continuum' heads off into electo-tech territory, defty programmed breakbeats underpin the filthiest of bass lines making this track a true dancefloor devastator. 'Swirl' takes a deeper approach, with pumping bass and driving beats supporting lush chords and a subtle, chiming synth riff. EP closer 'Bossa Blue Dub' drops the tempo slightly for a more other-worldly chug, whilst remaining no less compelling.

This EP is a true rarity that has achieved a cult status amongst the most discerning DJs and record collectors alike. It has been legitimately re-released with the full involvement of Scott James and Chris Hayne from Sound Virus and Lux Recordings, lovingly remastered by London's Curve Pusher from the original sources especially for Mint Condition. 100% legit, licensed and released. Dug, remastered, repackaged and brought to you by the caring folks at your favourite reissue label - Mint Condition!

Unreleased early JUKE tracks on this classic Chicago label. Real deal & heavyweight snap on this stuff. TIP!This is how it all went down. In 2006 Rockin' House was not releasing any records but, I still had my hand in looking for talent - just in case. That's when I met DJ Lil' Tal and convinced him to make some tracks. He is a prolific writer of Juke tracks and after several meetings he began to expand on tracks that he and I felt would work for Rockin House. Early in Rockin' House history I would take records to the local community college Radio Dance program at WKKC. There i met many of the same people where DJ Lil' Tal began his career. Many of those guys went on to shape the sound of South Side Juke. These are the first of those recordings he made for Rockin' House and simply labelled DJ Lil Tal " Juke Tracks". I've re-mastered and arranged the release a number of times to really expose the unique style of Lil' Tal.Why did i just release today? Well, the record business is a TOUGH business. I didn't feel the market was right for any new Rockin House material until now. So I just waited for our time and, our time is Now.
In 1993 two of the big guns in the rave scene came together and made some music. The duo wrote many tracks and remixes together during that year, but two tracks slipped through the net and vanished without trace. That is until now. Aphrodite located the masters hidden on DAT tape and hooked up with Vinyl Fanatiks to finally make them available. Two raw, uncompromising early hardcore tracks created on an Amiga using analogue gear. This is the original sound of the infamous British rave scene as it morphed into what became hardcore and then jungle. 27 years later and they still shake a bass bin.

This is the first release from long time running party 'Lost Control' in Manchester and Berlin and NTS resident under the same name run by Black Eyes. The label itself is our new extension of the portal from the 7th dimension. Specialising in plasma house, sub-aquatic electro and cyber techno all brought back from the year 2097. The first EP is from Texan electro legend Cygnus. We don't need to explain how good he is. We just hope you enjoy the ride of cyber soul at its deadliest. There's even a tribute track to city of Manchester where Lost Control was birthed. The vinyl colour is inspired by the by acid blood of the xenomorphs from the Alien movies, meaning it's translucent fluorescent yellow. "They mostly come at night...mostly!" The record is also mastered by Dutch synth genius Rude 66.
Johannes Auvinen (Tin Man) and Max Ravitz (Patricia), two devotees in the cult of the TB-303, return to Acid Test with the Celestial Body Music series, a follow up to their 2020 LP Powers Of Ten.
