The seamless integration of materials sourced within the setting, finding freedom within constraint, and designed for the masses. Usonian Automatic was recorded in a home built upon Frank Lloyd Wright’s principles, conceived and designed by his former student, James W. Strutt. Life in such a house exacts the instinct to harmonize its wood, brick, and geometry with the emanating electric sound of a speaker. Marrying the guitars to vinyl archived, cut, and laced into the available frequencies expresses our interpretation of the listening experience, revolving around the hearth. These are the Usonian fundamentals we have borrowed and built upon.

Cora Emens is a sex educator and performer based in the Netherlands. This re-issued work of experimental music was compiled in the 80s by Cora's ex-partner, Willem de Ridder (one of the founders of Fluxus) in the Netherlands from the home studio recordings of Cora.Now available in double LP form (originally released on a Radio Art Foundation cassette) with an additional bonus track 'Earplay'. This is the first time it's been re-released in any format. The original tape was mixed by Willem de Ridder and is remastered by Cora Emens herself.The archive cassette now resides in the sound archives of the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam.
